30 May: With an installed base quickly approaching 100,000 zones, Automation Controls Group’s patented UniDrive® Motors and controls are getting a major boost from the newest Smart Conveyor Control, the SCC-3 HiPerformance Control. The newest member of the growing family combines a sophisticated brushless DC motor drive and the intelligence to provide autonomous zero-pressure accumulation control for safe, efficient 24 VDC conveyors. “A major boost” is no exaggeration! The new control, when combined with the latest motors in the series can deliver twice the power at twice the speed of the current SCC-2 control.

The 110546MX control module is suitable for up to 8A continuous input DC current with a 27V input at 50°C when mounted on a suitable heat sink such as a metal conveyor frame. On-board switches allow easy setup and selection of any of four mating motor series, available in dozens of configurations.
